Angel Tree Photos

We had about 17 members join us at Arrowhead Mall to purchase gifts for the Angel Tree program. Some deserving children and an elderly adult received gifts because of our generous donations. Everyone had fun, which made it even more memorable.

NJHS Hours

Due to the chaotic last week of the quarter, all NJHS hours are due the first week back after winter break. If you need any forms, you can download them here.

Salvation Army Angel Giving Tree Meetup at Arrowhead

On Saturday, December 12th, NJHS will be meeting at 1PM in the food court at Arrowhead Towne Center (mall on 75th ave and Bell). Wear your NJHS shirts (see Mr. Herold about getting one)! Bring about $5 (or more) to contribute to as many gift requests as possible. At 2:30PM we will reconvene in the food court after purchasing gifts and then take them down to the collection center together. Please have your own transportation and parents are welcomed!

Ducky-Grams!

Last week, NJHS sold over 90 ducky-grams. Proceeds from the sales will go to charities that NJHS supports. We will sell more in the next couple weeks. Buy some and support those less fortunate!

NJHS Group Photo (UPDATED)

During first period tomorrow, we will be taking our photo for the yearbook. If you ordered a shirt from Mr. Herold, you will get it at Thursday's meeting to wear for the photo. If you are not going to order a shirt, then you need to bring a black shirt to wear on Friday.

T-Shirt Orders

Please see Mr. Herold, in room C8, to secure your shirt size. Members who pay first ($10) get first choice of size. Hurry, before your size runs out! We are hoping the shirts come in before our Light the Night event.

Red Ribbon Week

This week is Red Ribbon Week. NJHS members have signed up to help with our lunchtime event on Thursday. Have you read the printed flyer that was handed out last week? It includes information on upcoming NJHS events.

Officers Meeting Update

Officers counted dues and membership cards. Those of you that forgotten, make sure you remember to turn them in to Mr. Herold or Mrs. Petry as soon as possible!

Next week we will be discussing some possible service opportunities. Also, we will be trying to get new t-shirts.

Our First Meeting

In our first NJHS meeting, officers ran through the rules to follow and we did a group activity to get to know each other. Members need to attend meeting on a regular basis, put in volunteer hours, and help with fundraising.
